After writing United Airlines - they finally made good on their promises.. paid me for dinner that night an the full price of the hotel. The letter I received however was missing the check which was sent under separate cover (although the body of the letter telling me about the reimbursement didn't mention that the check would be sent separately - which made me think they forgot to send the check). The letter did however include a voucher for a discounted airfare to be used in the future (which I though was provided as a substitute instead of the reimbursement stated in the letter). I was pleasantly surprised to receive a check about a week or two later...
